Absolutely beautiful.
This bracelet was handmade by the Miao Hmong tribes of Southern China and Northern Laos. Collected during our travels through the hill tribe villages of Southeast Asia last fall.
This bracelet is made from used vintage earring pieces. The original earring pieces were large plugs for wide gauged ears, traditionally worn by the Miao Hmong women. When one side of an earring piece breaks the other side is used in other jewelry pieces such as this bracelet.
Each segment is made from delicately wrapped silver wire. The metal is a mixture of silver and brass, metal traditionally used by this tribe.
Size: About 9" (22.8 cm)
A wonderful artifact of traditional Hmong art and culture
